Janusz Kowalski, an MP from Solidarity of Poland, appeared at the protest of farmers from Agrounia, which took place on Thursday in the center of Warsaw. As the president of Agrounia, Michał Kołodziejczak, explained on Twitter, it happened when he himself was at a meeting with the Speaker of the Senate. “My colleagues rose to the occasion and asked for the unwanted guest,” he wrote. On the video posted on the Internet you can hear, inter alia, the cries of the protesters “fat cats, go to work” directed at the politician of the United Right.
The participants of the demonstration set off in the morning from Plac Defilad in Warsaw and walked along the streets of the capital in front of the Seym. The protesters carried the white and red flags and the flags of Agrounia with them. They also carried banners with the inscriptions: “Villages and cities with poverty, enough” and “Not for STH” and “STH is the Central Scam of the cash register”.
Demonstrators at Wiejska Street they shouted anti-government shouts. The leader of Agrounia, Michał Kołodziejczak, after his speech, went to meet the Marshal of the Senate, Tomasz Grodzki (Civic Coalition).
Kołodziejczak: my colleagues asked Janusz Kowalski
On Friday evening, Kołodziejczak wrote on Twitter that when he was talking to the marshal, Janusz Kowalski came to the protest, MP of Solidarna Polska (parliamentary club of Law and Justice, coalition of the United Right). “My colleagues rose to the occasion and asked the unwanted guest” – he wrote and posted the recording on the Internet.
You can hear the protesters shouting at Kowalski, inter alia, “go to work”. They also use obscene words. The recording shows the policemen standing around the deputy. The words “take him away” are said.
– Let’s talk – says Kowalski at one point. – Mr Deputy, with all due respect, but you have unlimited access to the media and please take advantage of it (…) please get out of here – replies one of the protesters. – You don’t represent farmers at all. You are afraid – says the MP.
After these words, the politician left the place of assembly. Demonstrators shouted, “come on, fat cats.”
Jacek Sasin notified the Internal Security Agency
As Radio ZET informed, the deputy prime minister in connection with the farmers’ protest Jacek Sasin decided to notify the Internal Security Agency, considering that the activities of Agrounia and its leader Michał Kołodziejczak were pro-Russian.
These reports were commented on by the head of the agricultural organization in an interview with TVN24. – This is a fight against the street opposition. I have nothing to complain about. I have never had any contact with anyone who would act on behalf of foreign services. It is simply a blow below the belt – said Michał Kołodziejczak. – How can I defend myself as an ordinary citizen, a social activist? – He was asking.
– Jacek Sasin is fighting very dirty today. Such a fight always ends badly. People know me, they know where I come from and what I do. This is another blow, after Pegasus, aimed straight in the face – added Kołodziejczak, referring to the fact that he was overheard using Pegasus system.
