The film’s stars were also present. – It doesn’t matter who we are or how different we are: we can make our dreams come true and we can dream – admitted Antonina Litwiniak, who plays the role of Ada, in an interview with TVN24 journalist Ewelina Witenberg. When will we see the new production?
The ceremonial premiere of “Mr. Kleks’ Academy” took place at the Grand Theater in Warsaw on Monday. There were plenty of stars on the red carpet – including Tomasz Kot, Piotr Fronczewski, as well as other actors appearing in the film – Antonina Litwiniak, Sebastian Stankiewicz, Agnieszka Grochowska and Danuta Stenka.
“Mr. Kleks’ Academy” in a new version
Piotr Fronczewski, well known for his main role in previous films about Ambroży Kleks, returns in the new film adaptation as the mysterious Doctor. Mr. Kleks is played by Tomasz Kot, who in an interview with TVN24 journalist Ewelina Witenberg admitted that he wanted to retain the title character’s “crazy attitude towards children” from the previous adaptation. – Everyone wanted to have such an uncle and everyone wanted to end up at this academy, everyone wanted to experience this magic and spells – said the actor.
The film “Academy” is different from the one created by Brzechwa. In the newest one, Mr. Kleks’ students are not only boys, and the main character is Ada. – For me it is obvious that anyone can go to school; it doesn’t matter where he comes from, it doesn’t matter whether he is a boy or a girl and it doesn’t matter whether his name starts with the letter A or B – said Antonina Litwiniak, who plays the role of Ada. – I think that our film also shows that no matter who we are or how different we are: we can make our dreams come true and we can dream – she emphasized.
