Murder at the University of Warsaw. A spokesman for the Ministry of Interior and Administration commented on the reactions of witnesses

On Wednesday, a 22-year-old student of the Faculty of Law UW attacked with an ax with a 53-year-old porter who closed the door to the Maximum auditorium. The woman did not survive the attack and died on the spot. A 39-year-old employee of the University of Warsaw, whom the attacker also inflicted severe wounds, started to help a woman. The man in a serious condition went to the hospital. On Thursday, his condition improved. His life is of nothing threatened.

The perpetrator was detained. In the intervention, the current officer of the State Protection Service helped on the spot. SOP was in the campus, because there was the Minister of Justice in the academic lecture Adam Bodnar. On Thursday, the Warsaw District Prosecutor's Office initiated an investigation in this matter. The man heard three allegations, concern the murder with particular cruelty, attempted the murder of a university guard security guard, as well as insulting the corpse at the scene of the incident.

Dobrzyński: Some people made films instead of helping

A spokesman for the Minister of the Interior and Administration Jacek Dobrzyński said on Thursday that some witnesses of the attack on the campus of the University of Warsaw instead of intervening, they made films. – The mass of people who witnessed this event did not intervene, we also noted such strange behaviors that some people made films, recording whole events – he said and assessed that they were worrying that hardly anyone wanted to help.

We asked the spokesperson how the witnesses of the event should behave in his opinion. He explained that in such situations you should “measure strength on intentions”. – Either I defend or call 112, I inform the police. You can also shout, react – Dobrzyński pointed out and said that they are “unconditional and natural” reactions.

“Removing your cell phone and recording, if someone murders someone, is incomprehensible to me,” he added.
