Murder in Spytkowice. The suspect will go to Poland


Mirosław M. was detained in Germany at the beginning of April. Now the local court has agreed to hand over the man to Poland. He'll be back next week. He faces life imprisonment for killing two women.

According to the Krakow district prosecutor's office, the relevant authorities in Germany agreed to hand over the suspect to the Polish side. The man will soon be transported to the country.

– On June 4, the German authority gave consent to transfer the suspect, Mirosław M., to Poland. (…) This will be implemented next week, said prosecutor Kinga Okoń, who replaces the spokesman for the district prosecutor's office.

Murder in Spytkowice

April 3 in the afternoon in one of the houses in Spytkowice, police found the bodies of two women. The victims are a 73-year-old mother and her 48-year-old daughter. They were murdered. Both had head injuries caused by being hit with an axe. The police found the murder weapon.

The murder suspect is a relative of the victims – 54-year-old Mirosław M. The man fled abroad.

On April 4, the Wadowice district prosecutor's office issued a decision to charge M. with two counts of murder. On the same day, investigators applied to the court in Wadowice for his temporary arrest. Such a decision has been issued. On April 5, the Krakow district court issued a European Arrest Warrant. The man was arrested on April 7 in Germany.
