Mysterious graphics have appeared on the social media accounts of brothers Liam and Noel Gallagher, the founding members of the band Oasis. They don't give much away, except for Tuesday's date and time, in a font that refers to the band's logo.
The same graphic with the date and time was also found on the group's official website. According to comments from some fans, and after them also from media publications, this entry may mean the return of one of the most popular bands in the history of British rock. “Sunday Times”, citing people from the industry, is already writing about possible concerts of the group – including at Wembley Stadium, or a performance as one of the stars of next year's Glastonbury Festival.
Oasis. Gallagher Brothers Reunite?
In August 2009, Noel, who composed Oasis' biggest hits, left the group. Earlier, during the Rock en Seine festival in Paris, a row broke out between the brothers. Family conflict of the founders of one of the most famous groups of the turn of the century turned into a years-long legal battle.
As the BBC writes, fans of the Manchester rock band have previously appealed to the brothers to resumption of activity. Liam Gallagher fueled rumors of a possible comeback with a social media post on Sunday. On the social media platform, X wrote: “I've never liked the term EX.”
On the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the release of the first album Oasis, the band has announced the publication of previously unknown versions of some songs. The hits from the debut album Definitely Maybe not only brought the group international fame, but also started a trend in rock music that critics called Britpop. Will the event announced for Tuesday at 8:00 a.m. (9:00 a.m. Polish time) start a new chapter in the history of the famous band?
