“My and Your Hope” by the band Hey it's a song-symbol. It was first recorded in 1993 and released on the band's debut album “Fire”. He also appears as a guest in the song Edyta Bartosiewicz. However, it was in 1997 that “My and Your Hope” gained special importance. Popular Polish artists recorded it as a tribute to the victims of the millennium flood. The studio featured, among others: Maryla Rodowicz, Czesław Niemen, Grzegorz Markowski, Natalia Kukulska Whether Renata Dąbkowska. Of course, there was also Nosowska and Bartosiewicz. The song was released as a charity single and moved Poles. 27 years later, we are dealing with a flood again and artists uniting for a noble cause. Is the new version of the iconic song equally successful?

This time TVP decided to invite artists to help as part of the #RazemDlaWas campaign. Edyta Bartosiewicz and Katarzyna Nosowska took part in the recording again. New versions of legendary songs often don't have it easy. The original still rings in my ears. Too big changes in the arrangement may be met with sharp criticism from listeners. One can mention here “We Are The World”, which was recorded several times, but it was mainly the first version that went down in history. Perhaps that's why the creators and performers didn't want to get too complicated and take risks. Artists of the younger generation took part in the recording, such as Oskar Cyms and Wiktor Dyduła, but it is impossible not to notice that the stars of the 90s sang mostly. Which is a pity.
