The average surcharge in the My Electrician program for the purchased e-car for natural persons will be about PLN 20,000 – said Artur Lorkowski, vice president of the National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management. He added that one fifth of the applications for subsidy concerns beneficiaries with a Large Family Card.

As Vice President Lorkowski reminded, natural persons may submit applications for subsidies for the purchase of electric cars from July 12, until the funds allocated for this purpose by NFOŚiGW are PLN 100 million, or until September 30, 2025.

– At the moment, we have about 800 applications in the generator for a total amount of over PLN 16 million, i.e. the average surcharge for an electric passenger car will amount to about PLN 20,000 – he said. He added that every fifth application for the subsidy concerns large families, i.e. people who have a Large Family Card submitted them.

The deputy head of the National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management (NFOŚiGW) reminded that individuals can only receive funding for the purchase of passenger cars classified in the M1 category in the amount of PLN 18,000. PLN 750 with the maximum price limit for an electric car at the level of PLN 225 thousand. zloty. In the case of the Big Family card, the amount of the subsidy increases to PLN 27,000. PLN, with no limit on the price of the purchased car.

As he summed up, the budget of the entire My Electrician program is PLN 700 million, including PLN 100 million for individual beneficiaries, PLN 400 million for leasing subsidies, and another PLN 200 million for subsidies for companies, local governments, foundations and other entities that are not natural persons.

The program is to be implemented in the years 2021–2026, and calls for proposals will be conducted until 2025 or until the funds are exhausted.
