Speaking about the Democratic candidate for vice president, the guest of “Tak jest” stated that he is “the antithesis of Uncle Donald”.
Minnesota Governor Tim Walz has been selected by Kamala Harris as her running mate for Vice President of the United States. “I am proud to announce that I have asked Tim Walz to be my running mate. As a governor, coach, teacher and veteran, he is dedicated to working families like his. It is great to have him on the team,” she said.
“It is the honor of my life to join Kamala Harris on this campaign. I am all in,” Walz wrote on social media.

The guest of Tuesday's edition of the program “Tak jest” – the president of the Kazimierz PuĊaski Foundation, Zbigniew Pisarski, addressed this issue. He stated that this is “an unobvious candidate”.
– Today I spoke with several Americans living in Poland and I asked them about such superficial observations, whether from their perspective this is a well-known person in American politics. Absolutely not. This is a completely new person, so he is introducing himself not only to Americans at this moment, but one could say to the whole world – he said.
He added that interviews show that “he is an extremely friendly, nice person”. – This is a person from whom you want to buy something. This is a person with whom you would like to go for a beer. This is a person you would entrust your dog or children to look after. A person who inspires trust – he stated.

“I have a feeling that today the Kamala Harris campaign will take off like a slingshot”
– I have a feeling that Kamala Harris' campaign will take off like a slingshot today. I use the phrase “slingshot” specifically because Governor Walz allowed himself to be recorded with his daughter firing a large slingshot at an amusement park – he assessed.
The Democrat posted a recording of the incident, which took place in September 2023, on social media.
As Pisarski added, Walz “is a kind of brother patch”. – A real guy. And I think he is the antithesis of Uncle Donald. On the one hand, we have a slightly disturbing, strange Donald Trumpand on the other hand we have Governor Walz, who will simply fight for that 1-2 percent of white voters who feel abandoned and unrepresented by the elites in the United States – he said.
– Let's remember that Minnesota is the West, but it's more like ElblÄ g. It's more or less located on the map of the United States – north in the middle. These are poor agricultural areas. Walz is, one might say, a man who would represent the post-PRL village in Polish reality. And he's simply digestible for them – Pisarski stated. – And on the other hand, we have JD Vance as Donald Trump's vice-president candidate, who is, however, a representative of the elites – he added.
