The police announce charges against two men. It concerns the fatal beating of a 28-year-old from Myszyniec (Masovian Voivodeship), who disappeared in July this year. The court arrested the suspects for three months.
According to the Provincial Police Headquarters in Radom, during the activities carried out by Ostrołęka criminal investigators, supported by Masovian police officers, the body of the most likely missing man was found. Two men were arrested in connection with the case and charged with assault causing death.
Charges and arrest
The Ostrołęka police received a report of the disappearance of a 28-year-old resident of Myszyniec on July 16. During the search, the police used, among others: drones. Officers checked over 650 hectares of land. A breakthrough in the case came at the end of November, when the police detained two men: a 21- and 26-year-old – residents of the Ostrołęka district. A body was also found. Initial investigation findings indicate that this may be the missing 28-year-old man.
Based on the material collected by Ostrołęka investigators at the District Prosecutor's Office in Ostrołęka, the men were charged with assault with fatal consequences.
The court imposed a three-month temporary arrest on them.
