Myszyniec. Police chase, the driver hit a tree

In Myszyniec (Masovian), the Nissan driver, seeing the police car, turned abruptly and began to run away. The dramatic chase ended after the 44-year-old lost control of the car and hit the tree. A few dozen hours after detention, the man heard a 1.5 year of ruthless prison.

On June 3, officers of the Police Station in Myszyniec noticed the suspicious Nissan driver. At the sight of the police car, the man stopped abruptly, performed a risky maneuver and accelerated, trying to escape. The policemen took pursuit, using light and sound signals, calling the driver to stop. However, he ignored the commands, increasing speed. He lost control of the vehicle, pulled over and hit a tree. The officers overpowered the 44-year-old.

Raw and instant punishment

– Checking in police databases revealed shocking facts: the man was sought after and under the court ban on driving. A breat with breathalyzer showed a promil of alcohol in his body. The detainee was sent to police custody, and his case was referred to court in an accelerated mode – the police press officer in Ostrołęka said Commissioner Tomasz Żerański.

Within a few dozen hours of the incident, the 44-year-old appeared in court. – The verdict was unambiguous: 1.5 years in prison without suspension, a lifetime ban on driving vehicles, Nissan forfeiture and PLN 20,000 for social purposes. This is another case when a severe imprisonment was imposed on the driver who bothers the court – summed up the Commissioner Żerański.
