Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan announced that Azerbaijan had been presented with a draft of a full peace treaty to end the long-running dispute over the Nagorno-Karabakh region.

Azerbaijan and Armenia are in conflict over Nagorno-Karabakh, an area that lies within Azerbaijan but whose population is predominantly Armenian. Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinian stated that the proposed agreement would provide for monitoring mechanisms for both sides to prevent violations of the peace agreement.
