Marcin Najman at Eurovision 2025? The expert talks about breaking the rules

It seems that Marcin Najman is constantly trying to surprise Internet users. Recently, we could most often see him in the octagon during freak fight galas or giving opinions on hot topics. This time the athlete surprised and announced that he intended to run to represent the country at Eurovision in 2025. “My dear friends, it's official. As Marcin Najman & Bass Brothers, we have sent an application for the pre-selection for Eurovision 2025. The committee's decision on who will appear in the pre-selection will be announced on January 14. The concert that will select the Polish representative for Eurovision will take place on February 14 at the headquarters of TVP” – he said via the X portal. Entry Najman, who has already disappeared from his profile, can be found in our gallery at the top of the page.

In an interview with Plotek, Szymon Stellmaszyk from Let's talk about ESC, who knows the music competition very well, commented on the matter. As he claims, Najman has already broken the regulations and his dreams are gone. – Regulations are an integral part of our lives. Careful reading of all the requirements is crucial for the correct submission of proposals to the Eurovision pre-selections – he emphasized and noted that in the world of entertainment such regulations should be an everyday occurrence.

It is clear from the TVP regulations that: “Firstly: Applicants cannot make public information about joining the national pre-selection. Secondly: Violation of the Regulations results in exclusion from participation.”

– Stellmaszyk pointed out. – The consequence, if the discussed proposal is submitted, should be: not allowing the song to proceed to the audition stage by the members of the competition committee – he added. This means that at this stage Najman has already broken the pre-selection rules. – The provision regarding the silence on the report appeared at the request of those consulted by TVP entities. The confusion that arises during eliminations, regardless of their form, is always great – he notes. – Some contractors e.g. they try to use it in the media space to appear or cause controversy. This is not necessary to build a positive image of the musical event itself. This is a practice that applies in countries such as Sweden and Italy, which have been providing us with top entries at Eurovision for years – sums up the expert.
