Two horses were running on the streets of Nakło nad Notecią (Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship). The animals escaped from a 50-year-old woman who was fined for failing to exercise due caution.

This unusual event took place on Wednesday (October 18) in Nakło nad Notecią. The police received a report about two horses running on the city streets.

– The police, knowing what a threat to traffic may be caused by large and frightened animals between moving cars, immediately went to the indicated area. They quickly located the horses, which had no regard for traffic on the road, said aspirant Zofia Wrzeszcz from the District Police Headquarters in Nakło nad Notecią.

She added that the police escorted the animals, thanks to which they could safely return to the pen from which they had previously escaped. Their guardian was fined.

– The officers remained calm and escorted the animals, making sure they did not pose a threat. The police quickly found the horses’ guardian who arrived at the scene. A 50-year-old resident of Nakło was fined for failing to exercise due caution, said the press officer of the Nakło police.
