The harassment of the teenager began during the pandemic, when kids they stayed at home. Julia was only 12 years old at the time. – It was a nightmare. Nobody wanted to react to the brutality of young people. Neither the school management, nor teachers, nor counselors, psychologists, or even the police. The parents of Julia's violent peers also did not react
– Niemen thundered. “That's why I will never be convinced by advice like: 'Come on. Don't go down. Don't stoop to their level.' (…) I'm not a f**king egoist and I will happily use my almost 40 years of experience with putting up with hate, marking, rejection, ridicule and insults, even in public, in order to help the hated,” she said.

The artist did not hide her outrage at the whole situation, but as she announced, she has already started to act. In a subsequent post, she revealed that she had taken some steps. “But even the disease did not deprive me of the ability to feel holy anger when there is a reason. (…) I have already made several calls, text messages, messages to people with whom we can do more than just p********* “about how bad this world is and how it is that our youth, parents and schools are like that,” she wrote. “My dears, The time of impunity for all violent perpetrators is coming to an end. (…) I will not give up. (…) Enough. It's time to start talking about it out loud, stop being afraid and take action! People need to be taught fencing, self-defense against hate and violence,” Natalia Niemen appealed in the post. Earlier, Joanna Koroniewska also spoke on the matter and admitted that she couldn't sleep after learning about the 16-year-old's death. She also emphasized that she did not intend to give up the fight against hate.
