“Today at the station in PoznaƄ, I was attacked by an elderly, small, neglected woman with aggression and obsession in her eyes,” Niemen began her Facebook post. “She was screaming obscenitieswhat's going to happen to me? She called me a slut. “She was breathing some terrible, Luciferian abyss,” she reported. The artist admitted that she decided to ignore the situation, but the aggressive woman was chased away by her friend. “I bet that you are… a very religious Catholic. But one without God, only with religion and the ideals of the system” – she added Natalia Niemen. At the end of the post, she explained why she decided to make this situation public. “Maybe so that we know what I have to face many times and how much strength I have for all this. For decades,” she confessed.

The artist's entry quickly gained a lot of comments. Many Internet users rushed to offer words of support, but others had reservations about Niemen's words. All because she assumed that the woman attacking her was certainly a “religious Catholic.” “Such a comment is terrible. Can you imagine, by analogy, 'I bet you are a very religious Jew'?” 'I bet you are transgender'? 'I'm betting that you are a lesbian'?”, “You probably don't know the inside of the Catholic Church, its community and beauty (…) Your association offended me personally”, “I feel sorry for such an encounter. (…) But if it turns out that this woman was neither very religious nor Catholic, it will seem that you hated Catholics,” we read. In response, Niemen reacted firmly to the comments criticizing her. “The woman wished me death in the name of God. What don't you understand, those attacking me? Do you support such evil people? What about you?” she wrote.
