The soldiers have been conducting exercises there for several days, incl. using the Croatian Volcano artillery system. On Tuesday, the exercises could be watched by the media and invited guests.
The soldiers from the USA, Croatia, Great Britain and Romania, who are stationed in the vicinity of Orzysz, took part in the exercises. They practiced, among others synchronizing your activities.
NATO Battalion Battle Group
The multinational NATO Battalion Battle Group stationed in Poland is one of four such battle groups deployed on the north-eastern flank of NATO as part of the enhanced Forward Presence (eFP) initiative.
The framework country for EFP in Poland is the United States, and the contributing countries – Great Britain, Romania and Croatia.
On a daily basis, the “Polish” eFP group cooperates with the 15th Giżycko Mechanized Brigade, and its activities, as in the case of other eFP battalion battle groups, are coordinated by the Multinational Division North-East formed in Elbląg.
