Netto focuses on the Polish market. They announced a new development strategy. Several hundred new stores

The Salling Group wants to “strengthen its core operations in Denmark, Germany and Poland” in 2025-2028. – We will continue to do what Hermann Salling set out to do, to offer customers the best products and solutions. We will do this as part of further expansion, leveraging ambitious acquisitions and investments worth up to DKK 13 billion – commented Group CEO Anders Hagh.

Many new Netto stores will be opened in Poland

“In Poland, the number of stores must be increased from 650 to 1,000 by the end of 2028,” said the Salling Group in a statement. Importantly, along with the creation of new points, “huge investments in new solutions and systems that will serve 60,000 employees in Denmark, Germany and Poland” will also be made.

– This is only possible because we run a financially stable company, which is a prerequisite for achieving our new goals with an unprecedentedly high level of ambition,” added Anders Hagh. The main strategic goal of the Salling Group is to achieve an annual turnover of over DKK 100 billion .

The Salling Group can look back on almost 120 years of history

The Danish company was established in 1906 and its founder was Ferdinand Salling. The group currently has 1,746 stores in Denmark, Germany and Poland, and its sales for 2023 amounted to DKK 70.3 billion.
