The moose ran to the road near Nowa Wrona near Płońsk (Masovian Voivodeship). A passenger car hit the animal. One of the passengers was injured. The helicopter of the Air Ambulance transported him to the hospital.
An accident involving a passenger car and a wild animal occurred around 17.25 on provincial road number 571 in the area of Nowa Wrona near Płońsk.
– According to preliminary findings, Volkswagen, which was traveled by four men, moved from the town of Zaremba towards Nowa Wrona. Suddenly, the Łoś ran to the road, as a result of which there was a collision – informs Commissioner Kinga Drężek -zysłowska, spokeswoman for the Poviat Police Headquarters in Płońsk.
A man traveling on the front passenger seat was injured. – He was transported to a hospital in Warsaw by helicopter of the Air Ambulance Service – emphasizes the policewoman.
Police, six fire brigades and an ambulance worked at the scene of the incident.
