In recent days, the United States has been going strong storms. In the south of the country, residents were hit by tornadoes and heavy hail, but it was also dangerous in northern regions, including New Jersey.
“Like a Bomb Explode”
Eric, a municipal worker in Woodbridge, was cleaning up a soccer field on Wednesday. The man was finishing stripes when lightning struck him.
– It was like a bomb going off. I looked out the window, he was lying motionless in the middle of the pitch – said one of the witnesses of the incident. The police were immediately summoned to the spot. The policemen who came to the call knew that the situation was very serious. Fortunately, one of them had a first aid course.
“We saw the burn marks on his hands, so we figured out what happened. We knew we had to start compressions to restart his heart,” said a police officer who attended. We’ve been trying to talk to him all the time. Once we were in the ambulance, the man regained his pulse and began to regain consciousness.
According to local media, the man was taken to the hospital and is in stable condition.
