– We have restored connections in Mazovia – after 29 years, trains run from Warsaw to Zegrze Południowy and from Ostrołęka to Chorzel. In Lower Silesia, the connection between Świdnica and Jedlina-Zdrój has returned. Thanks to increasing the speed of passenger trains to 160 km/h, the travel time from Warsaw to Radom was shortened to about an hour. The third and last railway bridge over the Vistula River has been opened in Kraków, which allows trains to run on four tracks between Kraków Główny and Kraków Płaszów, says the Minister of Infrastructure, quoted in the release. Andrew Adamczyk.

The head of the ministry adds that the construction of the railway link in Kalwaria Zebrzydowska has been completed, which will improve rail traffic on the route connecting Małopolska with the province of Silesian. – The travel time between Krakow and Bielsko-Biała has been shortened by over 10 minutes. In the Świętokrzyskie Voivodship, regional passenger trains run on the new Czarnc – Włoszczowa Północ link, e.g. Skarżysko-Kamienna – Częstochowa and Kielce – Częstochowa. The new track between the Central Railway Line and the Kielce-Fosowskie line gives carriers the opportunity to plan better connections, e.g. in the direction of Warsaw and Łódź. All these are just the most important favorable changes introduced by the holiday timetable on the railway – points out Adamczyk.
