The police are investigating the circumstances of the accident, which occurred in Nieborów near Łowicz. – Initial findings indicate that a 32-year-old woman drove off a side road and caused a collision with a car driven by a 34-year-old man, who was traveling with two small children – says Senior Inspector Urszula Szymczak from the Łowicz district police station. The 32-year-old's passenger was also injured in the incident.

The accident occurred at the intersection of national road no. 70 with Aleja Lipowa in Nieborów. – An Opel was driving on the side road from Nieborów, driven by a 32-year-old woman, who was traveling with a 56-year-old passenger. Our initial findings indicate that the accident was her fault, because she joined the traffic in such a way that she did not give way to a Volkswagen, which was driving on national road no. 70 from the A2 motorway – says Senior Superintendent Szymczak.

The Volkswagen was driven by a 34-year-old man who was carrying two two-year-old children. – There was a collision. An ambulance was called to the scene of the accident. The children were taken to hospital in Łódź, and the passenger of the Opel – to hospital in Skierniewice – adds the spokeswoman for the Łowicz police.


He adds that both the 32-year-old woman living in the Masovian Voivodeship and the 34-year-old man driving the Volkswagen from the Łowicz district were sober and had driving licenses.
