Now he will answer to the court for the crime and misdemeanor committed, the policewoman emphasized.

He faces up to five years in prison

Zarembska reminded that Art. 178 b of the Penal Code says: “Whoever, despite the issuing by a person authorized to control road traffic, moving a vehicle or being on a ship or aircraft, using sound and light signals, does not immediately stop the vehicle and continues driving, shall be punishable by imprisonment from 3 months to 5 years. The policewoman appealed to the drivers: – Unfortunately, there are drivers who, wanting to avoid criminal liability for committed acts, do not stop for roadside checks and try to escape. Such people not only commit a crime, but also expose themselves and other road users to the danger of loss of life or health. We ask for common sense on the road.
