The services received a report on Wednesday after 9 a.m. about a road accident involving two vehicles, which occurred on national road No. 25 in Niechorz, Sępolno County.
A Land Rover passenger car collided with a Mercedes delivery van carrying steel, which fell on its side as a result of the impact. Steel elements fell from the vehicle onto the road.

Steel spilled onto the road
– The delivery truck was carrying long, 6-meter steel barbells, which partially spilled onto the road. Our actions consisted of removing them, securing the scene of the incident, putting the vehicle on wheels and clearing traffic in both directions – said the officer on duty at the District Headquarters of the State Fire Service in Sępólno Krajeńskie.

He added that nothing happened to the drivers. Both were examined on site by the emergency medical team. Four fire brigades, police and an ambulance took part in the activities.
