Another tragedy by the water. The life chain and the quick action of rescuers did not help. On Sunday late afternoon, a man drowned in Lake Zegrze.
The information was provided on social media by the District Headquarters of the State Fire Service in Legionowo.
Chain of Life
“At around 6:40 p.m. we were dispatched to a man who had disappeared under the water after jumping into Lake Zegrze in the town of Nieporęt. When the JOP (Fire Protection Unit – ed.) units arrived, the Legionowo WOPR was already conducting its operations, locating and pulling out the man, handing him over to paramedics,” firefighters from Legionowo reported.
The photos they published show a chain of life formed by beachgoers from Nieporęcie. Despite resuscitation, the man's life could not be saved.
