They tried to destroy me, but they failed, said Stefan Niesiołowski, a former politician and opposition activist in the Polish People’s Republic, in “Fakty po Faktach” about the actions of the previous government in connection with accusations against him of accepting bribes, which the court found groundless in September last year. He added: “For me, such accusations are nothing new, disgusting spitting.”

In March 2019, Stefan Niesiołowski waived his immunity and left politics. He did this in response to accusations of accepting bribes in the form of sexual services in exchange for helping entrepreneurs. Last September the trial in this case is over. The court legally concluded that Niesiołowski is innocent and all the allegations are groundless.

Niesiołowski was a guest of “Fakty po Faktach” on TVN24. – For me, such accusations are nothing new, disgusting spitting. (Mariusz – ed.) Kamiński and (Maciej – ed.) Wąsik are responsible for this, the people who eavesdropped on me and tried to turn it into a trial. It didn’t work, he said.

As he added, “the case is closed, I won.” He called this time “a shameful division of the PiS political police, which was called the CBA and was actually used to fight the opponents of this government.” – The government (of Jarosław – ed.) Kaczyński, because Kaczyński was the de facto ruler for eight years, a dictator of Poland, not even a dictator – he continued.

– They tried to destroy me, but they failed, said Niesiołowski.

Niesiołowski: It’s as if someone spat in the face of real political prisoners

The guest of “Fakty po Faktach”, an opposition activist during the Polish People’s Republic, was asked about his assessment of the naming Mariusz Kamiński and Maciej Wąsik “political prisoners” by politicians PIS. – I was in prison for over five years (in the period of the Polish People’s Republic – ed.), plus a year in an internment camp, so in total I was imprisoned for over five years – he began.

As he said about Kamiński and Wąsik, “talking about them that they are political prisoners is like spitting in someone’s face and insulting real political prisoners.” – I’m not talking about us anymore, because no one in prison beat me or tortured me. (…) This is an insult to real political prisoners, and these are not only cases in Poland, he continued.

– These are the people they bully. The real prisoners are in Iran. (…) Poczobut is being murdered before our eyes (Andrzej – ed.). This is (Alexei – ed.) Navalny, he added.
