A New Jersey nurse has died after cracking her head when an alleged mugger shoved her to the bottom in New York City’s Occasions Sq. on Friday, in keeping with native experiences.

On Friday, Ambrocio had accompanied a good friend to the Philippine Consulate in Manhattan and was strolling via Occasions Sq. at round 1:30 p.m. when “she was knocked down by somebody who was described as a mentally disturbed homeless man,” the consulate posted on Facebook.

The suspect, later recognized as 26-year-old homeless man Jermaine Foster, had stolen one other lady’s cellphone and was being chased when he bumped into Ambrocio, native information shops reported, citing police.

Ambrocio fell and cracked her head on the pavement, WCBS-TV reported. Her pals informed information shops that she was unresponsive and rushed to Bellevue Hospital, the place she later died.

Police stated that Foster was later arrested and charged early Saturday with theft and assault.

“We would like justice,” Ambrocio’s brother Carlito informed the Post. “I would like him to be locked up for a really very long time so he that he can not harm any extra individuals. Throw away the keys so he received’t have the ability to get out anymore.”
