A group of North Korean defectors calling themselves the Deserters Propaganda Corps handed Ukraine leaflets and audio files calling on soldiers serving in the Russian army sent from Pyongyang to desert, the website of the Korea Times newspaper reported on Monday. Five North Korean units of approximately three thousand soldiers each are to be deployed on the front.
Leaflets and audio files containing encouragement to defect and appropriate instructions were provided to the Ukrainian army and the embassy Ukraine in Seoul.

The Deserters Propaganda Corps was founded by former North Korean soldiers who managed to escape to South Korea, explained the Korea Times.
The first clashes between Ukrainian and North Korean soldiers
The group asked Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to suggest using psychological warfare against North Korean soldiers fighting in the ranks of the Russian army.
Last week, Ukrainian Defense Minister Rustem Umerov confirmed to the Korean broadcaster KBS that the first clashes between Ukrainian troops and North Korean soldiers had taken place.
When asked whether it is possible to officially talk about the beginning of North Korea's participation in war in Ukrainethe head of the ministry replied in the affirmative. In his opinion, five North Korean units of approximately three thousand soldiers each will be deployed on the front.
