Policemen from Tarnów (Małopolska) detained a 38-year-old who drove away from the scene of the accident in Nowe Żukowice. The man had 2.5 per mille of alcohol in the exhaled air. After his car hit another passenger car, it crashed into a police car. The police car fell into a ditch. The officers and the 18-year-old driver were injured.
The collision of three cars took place on Thursday evening. According to the police, the driver of the Opel crashed into the matiz waiting for the possibility to turn, and the latter – pushed out by the force of the impact – collided with a police car passing the road.

The injured in the incident were taken to hospital and the police began searching for the perpetrator of the incident. The man was tracked down hours later.
– The Opel driver turned out to be a 38-year-old resident of Dąbrowski County, who had almost 2.5 per mille of alcohol in the exhaled air at the time of his arrest. He was arrested, and when he sober up, procedural steps will be carried out with his participation. His car has been secured – says the spokesman.
The policemen injured in the accident have already left the hospital. The 18-year-old is still under the care of doctors, but his life is not in danger.
