In one of the villages near Płock, a moose was walking along the streets. He entered properties, cutting through nearby crops. His journey was interrupted by the services who took him outside the built-up area.
In the morning on Wednesday, October 30, a man approached police officers from the Staroźreby Police Station and informed them that there was a moose in the center of the town.
“The animal was walking near the school,” the subcommand described in the statement. Monika Jakubowska from the Municipal Police Headquarters in Płock. The policemen, together with lads from the Volunteer Fire Department in Staroźreby, took action.
The services ensured the safety of the residents and took steps to ensure that the animal left the built-up area. “After about 1.5 hours, we managed to point the animal in the right direction. The moose moved away into nearby fields, and the residents breathed a sigh of relief” – added Jakubowska.
