Officers of the Central Police Investigation Bureau liquidated a laboratory where amphetamine was produced and seized 5.5 liters of liquid drug. They detained four people, including a “chemist”.
Policemen from the Management Board in Bydgoszcz CBŚP liquidated an amphetamine laboratory in Oleśnica County in Lower Silesia. It was located in a rented car repair shop and could be operational from April 2023. The police’s attention was drawn to the modern monitoring system covering this area.
“Preliminary findings indicate that approximately six liters of liquid amphetamine could be produced in this laboratory in one cycle. The drugs were distributed in the Lower Silesian Voivodeship,” the CBŚP said in a statement on Monday.
Marijuana, amphetamine and precursors
While liquidating the laboratory, CBŚP officers seized 5.5 liters of amphetamine, five kilograms of marijuana and drug precursors. They also seized two reactors, coolers, laboratory glassware and other items necessary for drug production.
The black market value of the seized drugs was initially estimated at approximately PLN 300,000. zloty.
Charges and arrest for four people
They detained four people, including a “chemist”. At the District Prosecutor’s Office in Oleśnica, they were charged with participating in an organized criminal group and producing large quantities of psychotropic substances. Temporary arrest was placed on all suspects.
