Olivier Rousteing: I’m not entirely sure why I was ashamed
He woke up the next day at the Saint Louis Hospital in Paris and has been recovering ever since.
Rousteing said his insecurity and fashion obsession with perfection have kept him from divulging this information until now. “Honestly, I’m not entirely sure why I was so ashamed,” he wrote. When he recovered, he hid his wounds under long sleeves and jewelry during interviews.
“Now, a year later, I am cured, happy and healthy,” he wrote. He thanked the medical staff who treated him despite “dealing with an incredible number of COVID cases at the same time” and spoke of how happy he is now. “There is always sun after a storm,” he added.
