Firefighters fought a fire this morning that broke out in a tenement house in Olsztyn. Fortunately, the building was unoccupied. There were no injuries. We received photos of the fire on Kontakt24.
On Contact24 we received information about a fire in Olsztyn, which occurred before 4 a.m. According to information from an internet user, the flames were supposed to reach the roof of the building.
Senior Captain Kamil Kulas, press officer of the Municipal Headquarters of the State Fire Service in Olsztyn, says that the fire broke out in a tenement house at 35 Warszawska Street.
There are no injured people
– Fortunately, it turned out to be an uninhabited building. We initiated fire extinguishing operations, and the following units were on site: JRG 1 and JRG 2 Olsztyn, OSP Gutkowo, OSP BartÄ…g, OSP Jonkowo and OSP Klebark – informs the firefighter.
The fire is now under control, no one was injured.
– Work is underway to check the building, and other services are also working on site – emphasizes Senior Captain Kulas.
