Police are looking for a man who may be related to the robberies of two stores in Olsztyn, which took place earlier this year. The perpetrator of the robberies demanded money from the shop assistants, threatening them with a knife. Police show the video of the suspect and ask for help in reaching the man.

Olsztyn police officers are investigating attempted robberies. Two such events took place on January 5, 2023 in short intervals in stores in Olsztyn.

Now the officers have decided to publish a fragment of the surveillance camera footage secured in this case. The video shows a man who police believe may be related to the crime.

– In both cases, the perpetrator, unknown at the moment, entered the commercial premises and, threatening to use a knife, demanded cash from the shop assistants. Ultimately, the attacker was frightened from the shops by other customers or by turning on the alarm, and then ran away in an unknown direction, informs Andrzej Jurkun from the press team of the Municipal Police Headquarters in Olsztyn.

As a result of the events, no one was hurt.
