The police are looking for a person who – from a shop in Olszyna (Lower Silesia) – stole a cash register with its contents. The theft was recorded by a surveillance camera. The policemen publish the video and ask for help.
The theft took place on July 31 in one of the shops in Olszyna. According to the police, a cash register with cash inside was stolen from a grocery store. The way the theft proceeded can be seen in the recording published by the police in Lubań.
Helmet on the head, gloves on the hands
The surveillance camera footage shows the person who entered the store. He has red hair and a motorcycle helmet is on his head. On his way to the shop counter, he demolishes the shelves with what looks like a pestle. – Then, using this tool, she smashed the cash register that she had stolen – says Justyna Bujakiewicz-Rodzeń from the police in Lubań. And he adds: – Uniforms have already managed to recover the broken cash register and the tool that was probably used to commit the crime. As described by Bujakiewicz-Rodzeń, the person suspected of theft was dressed in black. – The hair sticking out from under the helmet is most likely a wig. The person we were looking for had gloves on, and the shoes were taped with black tape – reports the policewoman. Investigators do not reveal how much money has been stolen. However, they ask all those who recognize the person visible in the recording to contact us. – Perhaps someone will recognize the perpetrator by the way he moves or body – emphasizes the policewoman.
