The police, under the supervision of the prosecutor’s office, are explaining the circumstances of the death of a 48-year-old man who fell into a well in Pieszowola (Lubelskie Voivodeship). The man’s life could not be saved.

The event took place on Saturday (March 18) in Pieszowola in the Parczew district. As the duty officer of the command post of the Provincial Commander of the State Fire Service in Lublin informed, after 3 p.m. firefighters received a report about a man who fell into the well and showed no signs of life.

Four fire brigade units went to the site, including a specialist high-altitude rescue group from Lublin. – After the arrival of the local hosts, it turned out that there was indeed a man in the well – said the duty officer. And he added that firefighters managed to bring the 48-year-old to the surface. Unfortunately, his life could not be saved.
