On Monday, July 24, the repair of the surface of Nocznickiego Street will begin. The new asphalt will appear on the section from Wólczyńska to Kaliszówek, where the Lindego-Bis collector was previously built. The detour was marked out along Sokratesa Street. The works were divided into two stages.
“The progress of works related to the construction of the Lindego-Bis collector on Nocznickiego Street allows us to start repairing the surface of this road. The work was undertaken jointly by Warsaw waterworks and road construction workers from the Municipal Roads Authority. The street, on the section from Wólczyńska Street to Kaliszówka, will gain new asphalt – additionally reinforced with a mesh,” reads the communiqué of the capital city hall.
Work will begin on Monday, July 24. The end is scheduled for the night of Sunday to Monday, July 30-31.

The first phase is expected to last four days
Renovation of ul. Nocznickiego has been divided into two stages to allow residents to access the surrounding buildings. The first section of the road will be closed to cars on the night from Sunday to Monday, July 23 to 24, and work will start at 7 am. For about four days, Nocznickiego will be completely impassable – from Wólczyńska Street to the entrance to the building at ul. Nocznickiego 27. On the remaining section, at all exits to Nocznickiego, there will be a turn order towards Kasprowicza Street and Wittek Avenue. An exception will be allowed for access to Nocznickiego 27 – to get there, drivers will be able to turn left from Lekka Street.
Phase two from Friday
The start of the second phase of the renovation is scheduled for Friday, July 28. Nocznickiego will be closed from Rokokova Street (no intersection) to Kaliszówek (no intersection). Access to the buildings at 29 Nocznickiego Street will be possible from Wólczyńska Street. A sign will be placed on Cienka Street from the Sokrates side informing about the lack of access to Nocznickiego.
On the night from Sunday to Monday, from 30 to 31 July, two-way traffic will return to Nocznickiego.
There will be detours
You will be able to avoid the difficulties along Wólczyńska, Sokratesa and Kasprowicza streets. At the approach to the roundabout in the vicinity of the Młociny Transport Junction, it will be possible to turn left from Nocznickiego into Kasprowicza and make the so-called turnarounds on a designated detour.

The closure of Nocznickiego Street will be used by tram drivers who are renovating the track next to it on Wólczyńska Street. During the work of road workers, they will replace the rails at the crossing of Nocznickiego Street.
Linde-Bis Canal
The route of the Lindego-Bis canal will run through Bielany in the area of ul. Bronownicza and along the following streets: Conrada, Wólczyńska, Nocznickiego to ul. Marymoncka, where it will be incorporated into the existing Burakowski sewer. Its task will be to take over part of the sewage and rainwater flowing from Bemowo and Bielany, and thus relieve the sewage system existing in this area. The launch of the new collector will help reduce flooding during very intense rainfall. All works on the construction of the Lindego-Bis collector will be completed in the last quarter of 2023.
