On Monday morning, a fire broke out in a single-family house in Orzesze in the Mikołów poviat (Śląskie). Three people died and five managed to safely leave the burning building.
As reported by the spokeswoman of the Silesian fire brigade, young brig. Aneta Gołębiowska, notification of a fire in a single-family house at ul. Jeziorska was delivered to firefighters on Monday shortly before five in the morning.
– The fire situation is now under control. Three people died in the fire – two women and a man. Five people have evacuated – reported the spokeswoman.
When they arrived, the flames spread over the whole house
When the firefighters got there, the building was already on fire. Inside, they found the bodies of three residents – women aged 50 and 70 and a 43-year-old man.
The causes of the fire are not yet known; they will be explained by a police investigation under the supervision of the prosecutor’s office. A fire-fighting expert will be appointed. There are also firefighters working on site to secure the site of the fire.
