The police reported that in the commune of Orzysz, a 50-year-old man had been treating his dog inappropriately for many months: he exposed it to severe frost, did not feed it properly, and beat the animal.
“Ultimately, the 50-year-old led the quadruped to emaciation and bodily injury. The neighbors could no longer look at the dog’s harm and took him in good faith to save him. They notified the appropriate services, thanks to which the rescued dog went to an animal shelter, Its owner was arrested by the police, the police said in a statement.

“The man did not admit to committing the acts he was accused of. He only added that the foil tent was set on fire accidentally, because his lighter exploded,” the release said.
The court ordered the 50-year-old man to be placed under police surveillance and banned from contacting his neighbors.
