1.7 per mille of alcohol in the body
– Following information from the governor, officers checked the Mitsubishi. It turned out that the 43-year-old driver from Wadowice County was drunk. He had 1.7 per mille of alcohol in his system – said the spokesperson for the Oświęcim police, Senior Warrant Officer Małgorzata Jurecka. The policewoman added that driving a motor vehicle while intoxicated is punishable by up to three years in prison and a ban on driving motor vehicles for at least three years. She also reminded that a driver whose sobriety test shows at least 1.5 per mille of alcohol must expect to lose the car or its equivalent.
