Osinów Dolny. Brutal robbery and theft. Police appeal

Police officers from Gryfino are appealing to all witnesses of the robbery in Osinów Dolny (West Pomeranian Voivodeship) to contact them. According to local portals, the man was to be overpowered, tied up and taken to the forest. He received death threats and had an unknown liquid poured on him. The thieves allegedly stole cigarettes worth half a million zlotys.

The police received a report of a robbery that took place on Friday around 7 p.m. in Osinów Dolny about an hour after the incident. – The person reporting the incident is also the injured person and did not suffer any injuries – explains aspirant Jakub Kuźmowicz, press officer of the District Police Headquarters in Gryfino.

The police do not provide details of the case. It is limited to information that tobacco products have been stolen. – The investigation is being conducted under the supervision of the prosecutor's office. If anyone has knowledge or witnessed the situation, please contact the police station in Chojna – says Kuźmowicz.

Local media: they tied his hands and kidnapped him

The portal chojna24.pl, which was the first to report on the incident, writes more about the case. According to their findings, the 45-year-old was packing cigarettes into the car when two men attacked him. They were to overpower him, threaten him with death, tie his hands and kidnap him.

After leaving the city, they allegedly abandoned the car in a field, repacked the stolen goods, and poured an unknown liquid on the kidnapped man and threatened to set him on fire. “Fortunately, he managed to free himself and reach nearby Klępicz for help,” chojna24.pl reports.

According to the website, the value of the stolen tobacco products is approximately half a million zlotys.
