Ostrołęka. Accused of raping an eight -year -old. There were already four sentences

The trial of a man accused of sexual use of an eight -year -old boy has ended. In this case, the court incorrectly acquitted him three times. The last, fourth, sentence was already convicting. Another appeal was made from him.

In the autumn of 2024, an unlawful judgment of four years and four months in prison was passed before the District Court in Ostrołęka. In the appeal, the defense wants acquittal, and the prosecutor's office of more severe punishment – 7.5 years in prison. The trial took place before the Court of Appeal in Bialystok. Due to the nature of the case, like the previous one, it was excluded. The judgment is to be announced next week.

Three acquittals and conviction

The District Prosecutor's Office in Ostrołęka accused the accused of raping a minor under the age of 15. The boy was eight years old. The accused and the victim knew each other, but they were not a family. This was to happen in the spring of 2017 in one of the Village in Ulatro.

The District Court in this case in Ostrołęka issued acquitting judgments three times. After the appeal of the prosecutor, the appeal court annulled these rulings, and the case returned to re -examination at first instance.

In November 2024, in the fourth trial, the Ostrołęka court unlawfully found the accused guilty of the sexual harassment of a minor under 15 years of age. According to the prosecutor's office, the court found the accused also guilty of the fact that he had used unlawful threat to the child four times to influence his testimony.

An unlawful sentence is four years and four months in prison.

Informing earlier about the case and other similar conducted by the District Prosecutor's Office in Ostrołęka, the prosecutor's office emphasized that this illustrates the scale of this kind of crime, which is the victims of children. At the same time, she reminded that the Penal Code also provided for responsibility for not pedophilia about the crime of pedophilia.
