The tragic effects of an accident that occurred on Monday around 11 o'clock in Ostrów Wielkopolski.
– A 93-year-old cyclist was hit on Okólna Street. According to preliminary findings of policemen who appeared at the scene, the woman was moving the bicycle path. At one point she wanted to join the traffic and pulled into the road. Then the accident occurred – reported the younger aspirant Ewa Golińska -Jurash, spokeswoman for the Poviat Police Headquarters in Ostrów Wielkopolski.
A 24-year-old sat behind the wheel of the car. The man was sober and remained at the scene. A 93-year-old woman with serious injuries was hospitalized. – Unfortunately, she could not be saved. The woman died – a spokeswoman for the police.

What happened on Okólna Street was recorded by a surveying camera. The recording shows how the senior rides a bicycle and rides to the road. The activities were carried out by police under the supervision of a prosecutor from the District Prosecutor's Office in Ostrów Wielkopolski. Audi and a woman's bike were secured for tests.
