Police officers from Otwock detained a 33-year-old who attacked a veterinarian when she refused to put his dog to sleep. The man repeatedly hit the woman with his fists. He wanted to force her to perform the procedure. In addition, during this attack, the dog also attacked the victim.
As reported by Paulina Harabin, spokeswoman for the Otwock policemen, a woman, a veterinarian, came to the local police station and told about the situation that had happened to her. According to her account, a man known to her from earlier visits entered the office with a dog without a leash and a muzzle. He immediately asked her to put the animal to sleep.
– When she refused, the man flew into a rage and rushed at her with his fists, they want to force her to perform this procedure. In addition, as a result of this aggression, at some point a dog brought by him also attacked her and bit her. She immediately ran out of the office and called an ambulance. The ambulance crew took her to the hospital, Harabin said.
The man was charged
The police quickly determined that the aggressor was a 33-year-old resident of Otwock. The man was tracked down and detained in Warsaw. He ended up in a cell at the police station.
The 33-year-old has already heard allegations of forcing a veterinarian to behave in a certain way and exposing her to a direct threat of loss of life or health, the policewoman informed. The prosecutor placed the suspect under police surveillance combined with a ban on contacting and approaching the victim.
