LUCKNOW, India — A part of an under-construction street tunnel in a mountainous north Indian state fashionable with vacationers collapsed after a landslide Sunday, trapping greater than 30 employees, officers stated.

Rescue work is in progress and oxygen is being pumped by a pipe into the collapsed part of the tunnel to assist employees breathe, stated Manohar Tamta, an Uttarakhand state reduction official.

“It’s going to take a while to deliver them out,” Tamta stated.
