Over 500 workers and contractors at Activision Blizzard signed and published a petition to take away CEO Bobby Kotick from the corporate.

“We, the undersigned, now not trust within the management of Bobby Kotick because the CEO of Activision Blizzard. The knowledge that has come to mild about his behaviors and practices within the working of our corporations runs counter to the tradition and integrity we require of our management—and straight conflicts with the initiatives began by our friends. We ask that Bobby Kotick take away himself as CEO of Activision Blizzard, and that shareholders be allowed to pick out the brand new CEO with out the enter of Bobby, who we’re conscious owns a considerable portion of the voting rights of the shareholders.”

In a stunning transfer, the petition goes on to record the names, titles, and departments of the employees, which may doubtlessly expose the signatories to retaliation.

The petition comes days after a bombshell report alleging Kotick knew about, enabled, and even participated in a tradition of misconduct and harassment that has drawn the eye of presidency authorities. In response, the corporate’s board of administrators issued a press release saying it will continue to support Kotick, whilst a small group of shareholders demanded his removal.

This petition is the newest growth in a sequence of worker-led actions towards the corporate, which now contains two walkouts and the formation of an worker advocacy group, A Higher ABK.

Disclosure: Casey Wasserman is on the board of administrators for Activision Blizzard in addition to the board of administrators of Vox Media, The Verge’s mother or father firm.
