At the Villa Park stadium in Birmingham in Central England, the legendary Heavytetal band Black Sabbath played the last concert. Ozzy Osbourne said goodbye to fans in an emotional performance in his hometown. Earlier a galaxy of stars appeared on the stage. The musicians unanimously emphasized – they would not have been if it wasn't for Black Sabbath.
Saturday's event in Birmingham at the Villa Park stadium under the slogan “Back to the Beginning” was supported by a dozen or so bands. Among them were rock giants such as Metallica, Slayer, Panther, Tool and Guns N 'Roses, performing their own songs and covers Black Sabbath – a group recognized as pioneers of heavy metal. Ronnie Wood from Rolling Stones and Steven Tyler from Aerosmith also appeared in the combined performances.
– Without Black Sabbath would not be Metallica. Thank you, guys, for giving us a goal in life – said James Hetfield, Metallica's frontman during the concert.
The concert for the first time in 20 years gathered the original composition of Black Sabbath: bassist Geezer Butler, guitarist Tony Iommy, drummer Bill Ward and Osbourne himself. The income from the event will be intended for charity.
Before performing with a full composition, he performed, among others, “Crazy Train” or – with a moved audience – “Mama, I'm a coming home”.

In February, the media reported that the concert tickets were sold within 16 minutes. The farewell concert of the legendary group and 76-year-old Osbourne, who revealed five years ago that he suffers from Parkinson's disease, attracted tens of thousands of fans of the work of “Prince of Darkness”.
Osbourne appeared last on the stage on December 31, 2018, when the “No More Tours” route came to an end. Only two months later he was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease. The singer also has operations behind him to help him return to form after an accident on a quad in 2003 and falling in 2019.
