For now, it is not known how the accident happened near Rozdroże Kowarskie, as a result of which the man was crushed by a quad. The circumstances are being investigated by the police and the prosecutor’s office.
The accident occurred in the vicinity of Rozdroże Kowarskie, between the towns of Paczyn and Kowary (Lower Silesian Voivodeship), in an inaccessible, forested mountain area. Forest workers found the injured man.
Around 2 p.m., firefighters received a call that help was needed. According to Capt. Adrian Książek, press officer of the Poviat Headquarters of the State Fire Service in Kamienna Góra, the droogs were going to the place in heavy combat vehicles and quads. They got there at the same time as the paramedics. They had a lot of trouble locating the place of the accident. The help of local foresters turned out to be indispensable in this regard.
