Over 200 prisoners ran out of the prison in Karachi in the south of Pakistan. It was escaping when the prisoners were derived from the target due to the earthquake. The guards managed to include several dozen fugitives. 140 is still sought after.

In the last 24 hours in Karachi, the largest city Pakistanseveral earthquakes have been reported. Their magnitude was relatively small – it ranged from 2.6 to 3.4 degrees on the Richter scale. As a consequence of one of the shocks on Monday to Tuesday, over 200 prisoners ran from a local prison.

The prisoners were derived because of the shocks. At some point, a group of prisoners decided to take advantage of the confusion and attack the guards. They took over their weapons, opened a fire to them and fled – said Ziaul Hassan, interior minister of the Sindh province, where Karachi lies.
As a result of the fire exchange, at least one prisoner was killed and three guards were injured. The services managed to include 78 fugitive fugitives. The search for the others is ongoing. The authorities appeal to the fugitives staying at the freedom to voluntarily indulge in the hands of officers. Those who do this will be raised by sentences – they warn.
“For a long time I heard shots, and after some time the prisoners began to run away in all directions,” said Reuters Bukhsh, a man working in a building opposite the prison. According to the agency's findings, over 6,000 prisoners are carried out at the Penalty Plant.
