Oxygen, imported from Poland

The Minister of Health, Wiktor Laszko, informed in an interview with the Ukrainian Prawda portal that Ukraine had started to buy oxygen from Poland. The reason is the suspended production in the plant located in the west of the country. – We contacted Poland because it could be done faster than transporting oxygen from the Donetsk, Luhansk or Zaporizhia oblasts. The Ministry of Infrastructure quickly issued all the necessary permits within one day, and the distributor supplying this oxygen brought several cars from Poland and delivered oxygen to hospitals – added Laszko.

Since the beginning of the pandemic, around 2.8 million infections and almost 65,000 cases have been registered in Ukraine. deaths. Over 7 million of the country’s 41 million inhabitants are fully vaccinated.
