Anna Lewandowska encourages you to vote in the upcoming parliamentary elections. – Let’s vote not because we have to, but because we can. It’s a great privilege – she appealed in a video published on social media.
Anna Lewandowska published the recording on Instagram. – The election campaign will certainly be the dominant topic in all media. We will hear a lot of and probably often unrealistic promises. We will witness various dirty laundry, attacks and propaganda. We will be fed up with politics, she said. She appealed: – Above all, I want to ask you for one thing – don’t be discouraged, don’t give up.
– The elections are for us, not for politicians. Once every four years, we have a real influence on what Poland will actually look like, who will make decisions on our behalf, who will create law and represent us around the world, she emphasized.
She added that being able to vote is a “great privilege.” – Let’s vote not because we have to, but because we can. Vote in accordance with your own conscience, listening not to promises, but to your values and beliefs. Let’s hold politicians accountable for what they have done, not for what they promise, said Lewandowska.
As she said, the elections are “a great celebration of democracy, our celebration.” – That is why I am asking once again and appealing especially to women. Don’t be discouraged, don’t stay at home that day, she appealed.
She said that she herself would vote abroad this year, in Barcelona. – But that’s no obstacle either. I encourage everyone who will be abroad at that time to also vote. It’s nothing hard. Contact the consulate to add yourself to the electoral roll. Just fill out the form online. I have already filled it out on the website ewybory.msz.gov.pl or send us the completed letter by e-mail or post, she advised.
